About us
Anelise & Tara

We’re Anelise & Tara, two best friends who have always found magic in discovering new places, collecting moments and finding connection wherever we go.
Zura was born from a desire to weave together everything that makes us feel alive...
travel, movement, wellness and the beautiful souls we meet along the way, creating spaces to reconnect, with ourselves and with each other.
Anelise
Based in Madrid, Anelise is drawn to the connection between body and mind, using yoga and somatics as a way to slow down, tune in and explore how to go deeper into the relationship we have with ourselves.
Tara
Based in Berlin, Tara finds grounding in movement that is both intentional and intuitive, bringing Pilates into a space where strength, balance and the feeling of being good in your body can coexist in harmony.
We wanted to create the kind of experiences we were always seeking ourselves where time feels a little slower, connections feel a little deeper, and you can be exactly where you are.
Our hope is to create the feeling of doing something just for yourself.
Something that stays with you, in its own quiet way, long after the experience ends.
We'd love for you to find a little piece of yourself in a Zura experience.

Why Zura
Four quiet values, held with care.
Connection
The heart of Zura was born from two best friends who were seeking to live a more authentic, transformative life based on genuinely feeling connected to the self and others. We represent a space where this is accessible for our community to flourish as well.
Movement
Through moving the physical body, we are able to move mountains in the emotional body as well. A core value in Zura retreats, movement is a return to the life force energy that drives our experience and being.
Exploration
True discovery happens when we step beyond the familiar. We view travel as a bridge between the inner journey and the external world, an invitation to awaken the senses through new landscapes and luxury spaces. By changing our scenery, we expand our perspective.
Play
Play allows the explosion of what causes genuine joy and excitement to serve as an anchor during the healing journey. Fun gives our nervous systems permission to spark the creativity we often feel fearful to share with the world.
