BOOKING & PRIVACY POLICY

We are a boutique business born from friendship and a deep belief in the power of connection. Each reservation is incredibly important to us. To create these luxury experiences in world-class spaces, we make significant, non-recoverable commitments to our partners and venues months in advance.

Please read our terms carefully. By transferring your deposit via IBAN, you indicate that you have read and agreed to these terms. Thank you.

Reservation deposit

To secure your spot at a Zura Retreat, we require a non-refundable deposit of 400 EUR.

  • Your reservation is officially confirmed only once funds have cleared in our Slovenian bank account.
  • The deposit serves as a down payment and is deducted from your total balance.
  • Non-refundable: as we immediately commit these funds to secure luxury venues, the deposit cannot be returned if you change your mind.

The remainder payment

The final balance must be received via bank transfer no later than 8 weeks (60 days) before the retreat begins.

  • We will send one friendly reminder.
  • If the balance is not received on time, we must release your spot to our waiting list, and your deposit will be forfeited.
  • When paying via IBAN, please select the "OUR" instruction (sender pays all fees) so the full retreat amount reaches our account.

Cancellation policy

  • More than 8 weeks before the retreat: if you cancel, your deposit is forfeited, but any additional payments toward the balance will be refunded.
  • Within 8 weeks of the retreat: because our payments to villas and private chefs are finalised at this stage, no refunds are possible.
  • Replacements: if you cannot attend, you are welcome to find a replacement to take your spot at no extra cost.

Mandatory travel & health insurance

Life is unpredictable. We require all participants to purchase comprehensive travel insurance that covers "Cancel For Any Reason."

  • This is your primary protection. Zura Retreats is a small organiser and cannot act as an insurance provider for personal emergencies, illness, or flight delays.
  • If you are travelling from outside Slovenia, you must hold international health insurance.

Health & responsibility

You participate in our yoga, pilates, and movement sessions at your own rhythm.

  • Physical awareness: please listen to your body's wisdom and intuitively honour your limits.
  • Disclosure: we are movement specialists, not medical doctors. If you have chronic injuries or medical conditions (physical or mental), you must inform us before booking so we can ensure the environment is safe for you.

Behavior & the shared Zura energy

Zura is a group experience built on friendship, movement, exploration, and play. We ask for emotional maturity and respect for the group dynamic.

  • Removal: we reserve the right to remove a participant whose behaviour is disruptive to the safety or harmony of the group. No refund will be given in this case.

Luxury spaces & liability

We host our retreats in exceptional, high-end properties.

  • Property damage: guests are held personally and financially liable for any intentional damage to the property, furniture, or nature. Any costs will be invoiced and are payable via IBAN within 7 days.
  • Zura Retreats is not responsible for any loss or theft of personal belongings.

Phones & privacy

  • Phones remain away during practices, movement sessions, and group meals to maintain a "disconnected to reconnect" atmosphere.
  • Please respect the privacy of other guests; always ask for consent before taking or posting photos of others.

In case we must cancel

If Zura Retreats must cancel a retreat due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a 100% refund of all payments made to us.

  • We recommend waiting until the 8-week mark to book non-refundable travel or flights.
  • Zura Retreats is not liable for external costs such as flights or visa fees.

Governing law

This contract is governed by the laws of the Republic of Slovenia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ljubljana.

We value your privacy as much as your presence.

We comply with EU GDPR standards to protect your information.

  • What we collect

    Your name, contact details, passport info (required by Slovenian law for the Turistična taksa registration), and health info (allergies, injuries).

  • How we use it

    To finalise your booking and ensure our instructors can care for you safely.

  • Photography

    We may capture photos and videos for our Instagram and website. If you'd prefer to stay off-camera, simply let us know before the retreat, we will always honour your privacy.

  • Your rights

    We do not sell your data. You have the right to access, correct, or request the deletion of your data at any time.
